About this simulator
This tool models the 36-team Swiss-format league phase used by the UEFA Champions League since 2024/25. Real official results are pre-loaded automatically — enter a predicted score for any remaining match, or use "Simulate," and the standings update instantly using the competition's real tiebreaker rules.
How qualification works
Every club plays eight league-phase matches — two against opponents from each of the four seeding pots, four at home and four away. One combined table ranks all 36 teams. The top 8 advance directly to the round of 16. Teams ranked 9th through 24th enter a two-legged knockout play-off round. Teams ranked 25th to 36th are eliminated.
How ties are broken
Level teams are separated first by points, then goal difference, then goals scored, then goals scored away from home, then total wins, then away wins.
Team, pot and fixture data reflects the confirmed 2026/27 league-phase draw. All 144 fixtures are set: the league phase runs across eight matchdays from 8 September 2026 to 28 January 2027, with real official results syncing in automatically as matches are played.
